1. Information we collect

Unilevel MLM Plan ("the app", "we") collects the following data from the Shopify stores that install us:

Customer data: name, email, phone, customer ID, and order amounts — used to identify the referrer of each order and calculate commissions for their upline.
Order data: Shopify order ID, subtotal, total, currency, status, and the referral code attached to the cart attributes — used to drive the commission engine.
Shop data: shop domain, access token (encrypted), and granted scopes — used to authenticate API calls.

2. How we use the data

All data is used solely for the operation of the affiliate program:

Calculating multi-level commissions on paid orders
Reversing commissions on refunds
Storing affiliate wallet balances and transaction history
Sending email notifications to affiliates
Generating analytics dashboards visible only to the merchant

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.

3. Storage and security

Data is stored in an encrypted database on infrastructure operated by the app developer. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. All API traffic uses HTTPS/TLS. Database backups are encrypted.

4. Data retention

Data is retained for the lifetime of your active subscription. Within 30 days of app uninstall, all shop-specific data is permanently deleted from our systems.

5. GDPR & data subject rights

We comply with Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact). End customers can request their data or its deletion through the merchant, who relays the request through Shopify. We respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies

The storefront tracker sets a single cookie named mlm_ref with a 30-day lifespan (configurable per merchant). No other cookies are set.
